On March 25th and 26th, 2024, AI Grid organized two events in Berlin that aimed to create a structured platform for networking and exchanging ideas within the artificial intelligence community. Selected members of the initiative visited the K.I.E.Z. Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Center in the Merantix Campus and the next day we visited Google.
Intensive exchange at the K.I.E.Z. Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Center
Monday marked the beginning with a meeting in cooperation with the K.I.E.Z. Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Center. In an atmosphere of energy and inspiration, the thematic round tables provided a platform for lively discussions and the exchange of ideas. Participants from leading innovation centers such as Merantix AI Campus, Tobias Szarowicz, tulana, Deep Skin AI and Epapa contributed significantly to the discussions with their insights and perspectives.
Expert dialogue with Google DeepMind
Another highlight followed on Tuesday: an exchange with experts from Google DeepMind. Key topics such as interpretability, data selection and fairness in AI were covered in presentations. The presentations and subsequent question and answer sessions with experienced experts such as Artem Sokolov, Jasmijn Bastings, Sebastian Ebert, Katja Filippova and Slav Petrov were both informative and engaging. Particular attention was also paid to the contributions of our AI Grid members Tanise Ceron, Phillip Schneider and Amelie Wührl, who presented their research projects.
Thanks and outlook for the future
We would like to thank all participants who enriched the last two days with their knowledge and commitment and thus contributed significantly to promoting the next generation in the field of artificial intelligence. The collaboration and the shared striving to expand our possibilities were outstanding.
